#1 Sundance Spas 980 Series

The 980 Series Spas sit at the top of the long line of Sundance Spas.

They feature a variety of key Sundance elements, such as small waterfalls and atmospheric lighting, as well as the standard technology that comes with the other Series spas. T

here are four different tubs to choose from in this series, including the Claremont, Lisbon, Kingston, and Odessa, which range from five-seven person capacities.

If you’re looking for a large hot tub, the Kingston or Odessa might be your best bet. On the other hand, the 980 Series Claremont is an excellent medium-sized spa with that classic rectangular shape that many know and love.

It comes complete with an illuminated SunCooler and a comfortable lounge seat.

The best part about the 980 Series as a whole is that they boast tons of high-tech features, including the SunSmart 2/0 Wi-Fi app and the iTouch Glass Control panel.

While the 880 Series isn’t at the same level of luxury as the 980 Series, it carries many of the same features and offers consumers eight different tubs to choose from, including the Aspen, Maxxus, Optima, Cameo, Altamar, Marin, Cambria, and Capri.

As the most versatile Series in the bunch, these tubs range in size from two-person capacity to eight-person capacity, perfect for any size household or family.

The Maxxus and Aspen are two of the largest spas in the Series, featuring room for six and eight people respectively.

Aspen even has a bench seat with a side-by-side massage option for those who want to get a bit more intimate.

On the other hand, the Marin helps to take advantage of smaller yard spaces with a 4-5 capacity. The best-selling Sundance Spa is the Cameo, which fits about five to six people and has a versatile Fluidix jet system, ranging from the Intelli-Jet seating to the immersive Accu-Ssage. We would highly recommend the 880 Series if you’re seeking versatility.

The 780 Series comes with many of the same high-quality features and technologies as the others, though their low profiles set them apart from the other in terms of design.

There are six different tubs to pick from in this series, including the Chelsee, Hamilton, Montclair, Bristol, Hanover, and Dover, which range from three to seven-person capacities.

The Chelsee is the most popular large spa in the 780 Series with a deep-tissue Accu-Pressure seat, as well as the exclusive 780 Series SMT seat, which captures the feeling of a hands-on massage.

If you’re looking for something that is a bit more compact, we recommend checking out the Dover.

It comes with seating for two to three people, making it perfect for intimate date nights, though also comes with the same Accu-Ssage therapy seating for those who have their focus on receiving a beautiful hydrotherapy experience. If you’re in the market for a hot tub that is more intuitive with low-profile seating, the 780 Series might be right up your alley.

From the larger, six-person spa models to the compact two-person SP models, the 680 Series is known for providing a luxurious experience at a low cost.

There are seven tubs to choose from in the 680 Series, including the McKinley, Ramona, Edison, Peyton, Prado, Denali, and Tacoma.

One of the most stand-out spas in this Series is the Tacoma. With the unique, curved triangle hot tub design, it's fits perfectly into just about any corner, great for those who need to make the most out of a small space.

Another unique spa is the Denali, which is a four-person capacity spa with a round design instead of rectangular, great for those who like the classic hot tub experience.

The 680 Series are described as “Plug N’ Play Spas”, meaning you can connect them to a 120v outlet and get going right away. If you’re in the market for a spa that is a bit more budget friendly, look no further than the 680 Series.

Sundance Spas are made with what they call Genuine Parts. These Genuine Parts are built with high standards of quality, durability, and performance, and are made specifically for Sundance Spas so that you always know you are getting something that works. They are only sold from Sundance Spa Dealers and are backed by the Sundance Warranty.

You can check out the Sundance Spa parts catalog at The Spa Works, one of Sundances’ biggest dealers.

The Sundance Spa warranty varies by year and model, so we recommend heading over to their warranty page to check out their warranty on a specific Series model. With that said, there are some warranty characteristics that overlap:

While the length of the warranties are different, the spas are protected against shell structure damage, shell surface damage, equipment and control damage, plumbing components defects, and cabinet damage.

Sundance has a variety of authorized hot tub dealers around the United States and Canada, making it easy for consumers to obtain a hot tub at a location nearest to them. You can check out their dealer page to find Sundance Spa dealer in your area.

There is also a page for international dealers if you are looking outside of North America.

It can be frustrating to crave the benefits of a high-quality spa if you aren’t able to afford one in full, Luckily, Sundance Spas offers an array of financing options through local dealers for those with approved credit. Wells Fargo offers financing options for U.S. and Canadian residents. We recommend heading on over to the Sundance Spas financing page for more information.

Sundance Spas has a variety of manuals for their different Series, as each of them functions a bit differently. We recommend heading on over to their support page to download or check out their Sundance manuals.

If you are in the market for tubs that are specifically compact and energy-efficient, we recommend checking out Hot Springs. While we don’t believe they can match up to the adjustable Fluidix Jets of the Sundance systems, they have some of the most practical and compact tubs for those who are low on space.

While Sundance and Jacuzzi are technically sister companies that utilize a lot of the same technology, there are some small differences that make Sundance spas better in our opinion. For starters, Sundance uses bearingless Fluidix Jets, which makes for a more durable system. They also use an advanced filtration system that is one of the only FDA and NSF approved systems in the industry.

There are different procedures that need to be put into play to find different solutions. If you’re having trouble with your Sundance Spa, you’ll be happy to know that there is a huge list of troubleshooting procedures available on their website.

In terms of actually getting your Sundance Spa repaired, you can contact your specific dealer or contact the Sundance Spas Support Team.

Sundance Spas use specific filtration systems that only authorized dealers may sell, meaning you can’t use a non-Sundance spa part with your model. If you’re interested in finding out more about the different Sundance Spas filter parts, you can learn more on their website.

The Sundance Spas heaters utilize an array of different pieces, including heater unions, o-rings, split nuts, and more. To locate these parts, we recommend heading on over to The Spa Works, or any other authorized Sundance Spas dealer.

Sundance Spas has a wide variety of covers to help prolong the life of your spa. These SunStrong premium spa covers are crafted with a variety of high-quality, marine-grade materials that are UV-resistant and easy-to-clean. They are much stronger than your average vinyl cover, so you won’t need to worry about them losing durability over time. Check out their Sundance Spas covers page to learn more!
